In comparison to many WHB books, this unique series comprises a rich range of titles that provide the reader with a relatively concise study of subject matter, though nevertheless very well conceptualised, argued and presented. In subject matter, content if not also approaches, these essays, which range in size from c. 5-40,000 words, contribute to knowledge and understanding and in many cases challenge the reader in issues addressed and the journey that their engagement with entails.
